As milk bottle tops are not recycled by the local authorities, Fareham Lions are widening the number of collection points, so that we can ensure this plastic is not put into landfill!
By collecting plastic milk bottle tops we encourage others to do something good for the environment, ensure the plastic can be recycled into many other products and raise valuable money for local charities.
Each donation made will help raise funds for a local charity such as Rowans Hospice, Naomi House, Hants & IOW Air Ambulance or Harbour Cancer Support and many more.
All we ask is that each milk bottle top is washed clean, has no foil or paper on them and is deposited with us in a clear / see through bag by cap colour.
- Green
- Blue
- Red
- White (replacing green)
Mixed colour bags are not acceptable and will be put into the general waste and not be recycled. This is important.
Current collection points:

- Most cafes in Fareham are recycling their bottle tops with us – ask if they recycle with Fareham Lions Clubs and give them yours. If they don’t ask them to get in touch with us.
