Stubbington Fayre

Fareham Lions Club Stubbington Fayre
Stubbington Fayre is held on the August Bank Holiday Monday, every year, and is famous for its Donkey Derby.
It is held in the Recreation Ground, adjacent to Bells Lane and behind Crofton Youth Centre, Crofton Community Centre and Stubbington Library.

Stubbington Fayre is a Fareham Lions committee made up of members of Fareham Lions Club, Crofton Lions Club and Crofton Youth Project and other members from Stubbington.
Committee meetings are held to discuss the progress of the forthcoming fayre six times per year on the 1st Tuesday of the month, 7pm at The Crofton Youth Project or online. The public are welcome to come along.

We welcome stalls that are game / activity based. Priority are given to charitable organisations.
From 2022, activity based stalls must include a risk assessment, which includes covid precautions

If you wish to have an entertainment stall, such as an inflatable slide, fairground rides, rodeo… then you will need to provide specific relevant annual testing certificates, such as PiPA, insurance and risk assessments.

Want the opportunity to show your singing talent at Stubbington Fayre?

You will need to have your own equipment which includes being able to provide your own power, as we do not have access to electricity on site.

If you want to have a catering stall, please ensure you are registered with your local authority, have a copy of your latest approval, your business details, your insurance and risk assessment.

Please note that the Catering Organiser is authorised to restrict similar types of catering facilities, so if you can provide something different then please do get in touch. 

We always have a selection of classic cars and motorbikes on show. If you would like to display your vehicle free of charge then please contact our Vintage Car Organiser

In 2022 the organisers of the Dog Show decided not to participate. 

All enquiries about the dog show should be made directly to the Dog Show Organisers on their Facebook page.

The Dog Show organisers ensure that all animals are well looked after. They always bring with them a Vet Practice who are there to ensure your pets are cared for appropriately.

In hot weather they provide paddling pools for the pets and ask that you keep pets in the shade wherever possible and walk them on grassy areas only.

All Stalls, Entertainment and Catering stalls must be run by a responsible adult, under 18s must be supervised at all times and must not be responsible for anything that is a health and safety risk.
