Local ladies football team Gosport Borough Ladies FC requested sponsorship for both their away kit and training kit. After consideration about the request a grant of £1500 was approved along with displaying Fareham Lions Club on the kit.
It is important that all have the opportunity to take part in sports no matter who they are and be a part of a team as this promotes health, respect, collegiality along with many other attributes. More importantly it helps to reduce the risk of Type 2 Diabetes which is one of the five pillars of service for Lions Clubs around the world.
We are aware that they are in need of some more talent to join them. So if you are over 16 and want to join a local ladies team then please get in touch with them.
