A local Fareham Scout is taking part in this venture where over 4 weeks’ the expedition will focus on a community project such as building or renovating a school, include a Safari and some community activities.
We were impressed by the presentation the Scout provided to us and decided to make a donation of £250 towards the £3000 individual costs the Scout has to raise in order to be able to attend.
We always keep in touch with those that we help in this way and in the past have helped young people to raise further funds by providing them with a large chocolate Santa or large Easter Egg to raffle off.
